These terms apply to the use of www.mvctech.no. The terms for a specific engagement are agreed separately and in writing.

About the website

The information is general
The content of the website describes the kind of work we do, and is intended as general information. It is not technical, legal, accounting or financial advice for a specific case, and it does not constitute a binding offer. Concrete recommendations are given only once we know your situation.
The contact form does not create a contract
Submitting the contact form is an enquiry, not an order. No client agreement, no obligation to deliver and no obligation to pay arises from a submission. A client relationship arises only once both parties have accepted a written proposal.
Nor do we accept orders, payment or binding engagements through the website.
Project terms are agreed in writing
For each engagement, the following is agreed in writing before work starts:
- scope and boundaries
- price and payment terms
- schedule and milestones
- division of responsibilities and assumptions on both sides
- rights to source code, design and other deliverables
- handling of data, access and any data processing agreement
- any support, monitoring and maintenance after launch
- confidentiality
In the event of a conflict, the written engagement agreement takes precedence over what is stated on the website.
Use of the content
Text, graphics, illustrations and code on the website belong to MV Cerda Technologies unless otherwise stated. The content may be read, shared and quoted with attribution, but not reused commercially or presented as your own without written consent.
Availability and changes
The website is updated on an ongoing basis. Content may be changed, moved or removed without notice, and we do not guarantee that the website is available or error-free at all times. We aim for the information to be correct and up to date, but reserve the right to errors.
External services
The website is hosted by Vercel, and email from the contact form is sent through Resend. These services have their own terms and their own availability, which we do not control. If the form is temporarily out of service, you can always reach us by email or phone.
Liability
We are not liable for losses resulting from decisions made solely on the basis of the general information on the website. Liability relating to a specific engagement is governed by the engagement agreement for that engagement.
Privacy
How we handle personal data from the contact form is described in the privacy statement.
Governing law and venue
Use of the website is governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably fall under Bergen District Court (Bergen tingrett) as the agreed venue, unless otherwise agreed in writing for a specific engagement. The Norwegian version of these terms is the original; if the two ever differ, the Norwegian text applies.
